Our team of interior designers is led by a specialist with more than 30 years of experience in the industry. Our founder William is well versed in Italian design concepts and has beautified countless homes with well-planned-out interiors and tasteful furnishings.
Yes, we do import other Italian brands that are not listed on our website. We have contacts with other Italian buying houses and we are able to source these items for you.
Brands that we parallel import include: Poliform, Poltrona Frau, GIORGETTI, B&B Italia, KnollStudio, MAXALTO, MINOTTI, DADA and BOFFI. Simply provide us with the brand and product information, and we can also arrange competitive quotes for you for brands that are not carried by us. We charge an additional fee of 5% above our standard 10% shipping and handling fee only, as well as applicable import taxes and consumption taxes (eg VAT or GST).
We offer several thousand items across our numerous catalogs. With the many different design, material and color preferences of buyers, it is not feasible for us to carry a comprehensive inventory. Our customers’ orders are promptly sent to the Italian manufacturers for production following receipt of payment. please note that the delivery schedule is subject to how fast we can fill up a 40-foot container together with our other orders.
PAYMENT INFORMATION
IH ITALIAN GROUP allows you to buy products directly from the manufacturers at factory prices. You are not subject to the various distributor and retailer mark-ups, resulting in significant cost savings. Our prices are in Euros, and you pay based on the exchange rate of the day—and given the low Euro exchange rates, you stand to gain even more value for money. Also, you are not obligated to pay the 25% VAT in Italy if you buy directly from the factory.
When your products arrive, our team will deliver and/or install everything for you, helping you to avoid the problem of identifying a competent furnisher after your purchase. All you need to do is relax and look forward to having a beautifully furnished home.
We have researched the local manufacturing rates for custom kitchens and imported furniture from other Asian countries and found our pricing to be within 10% above or below that of comparable items. We are not aiming to sell at high volume, and would rather allow our customers to select items that they can afford for customized solutions. The price is still lower than most consumers expect, being 100% direct-from-factory Italian-made products.
